**************************[FSK] -Operation Apollo************************ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Created by SwAtDoG, 1stCAPT of the [FSK] clan - www.fskclan.com ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SYSTEM SPECS Operation Apollo was created and on a P3 450Mhz, 128Mb Ram with a GeForce2 32Mb Graphics card. It has since been modified and tested on a AMD 2.6Ghz+ 512MB DDR RAM, Radeon 9000 128bit Graphics. It was tested online with a 64k ISDN connection It was also tested by a small team of so-called experts :) No problems arose that i haven't fixed. Thanks for testing it guys. Testing produced no slow-down or lag. --------------------------------------------------- KNOWN BUGS/ISSUES - When you move into a motel room, and look outside you won't see rain. This is also the case with the diner. This is Worldcraft's fault..you have to be inside the same cell as the rain to see it. Sorry bout that. I tried to make it so it's not too obvious, by expanding cells across areas that AI cannot access, and by putting rain on the diner windows/door. - The AI may get a bit confused with the 'hatch' in the reception area. I found it hard to portal this correctly, and as a result they sometimes don't recognise it as a door. I find that pointing at the opposite ending of the room and telling them to 'continue searching'...they'll run into the hatch for a few seconds and eventually will lift it. - Those pesky AI eh. You'll also notice they will head off on an adventure of their own and stack up one of the motel room doors at the start of the mission, without you telling them to do anything. To overcome this, just order them to fall in at the beginning of the mission, and they'll become obedient again. - The diner entry doors, and the reception entry door, will not act as glass when shot. This is because the texture is part wood, part glass, and i could only set it to react as either wood or glass and i chose wood. - There are some bugs outside in the bushes. This is a a problem with 'Nature' and i can't fix it. Sorry. ----------------------------------------------------- SPECIALS - Recognise the dolls house? :) Just be careful when shooting near the police van, don't want to harm any officers now do we? - The music from psycho plays when you enter the room with the woman having a shower. This is a reference to the part in the film when a woman is murdered in the shower in a motel. - Shooting dogs isn't nice. - Or cars. - There's a light switch in the diner. - There's even a disco somewhere for swat officers to visit in order to relax and chill out. Gotta find it though. ---------------------------------------------------- NOTE FROM ME: This is my third map using worldcraft.
